After so many requests, I’m so happy to offer again the follow-up course to the original “Beauty Way Vocal Healing Apprenticeship”.

If you're feeling called to continue or begin your healing journey with your voice and access tools of self-empowerment, expand your knowledge of music and music theory, and techniques for better singing while deepening your knowledge and connection to the sacred chants, then you have arrived at the right place.

Singing is a beautiful gift and a birthright for everyone, not only those we call "singers".

While no previous musical or singing experience is required, this course was originally intended for those who have already embarked on their singing journey and want to now learn techniques for better singing and discover the unique facets of their own voice. This is for all levels!

WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?

This course is for those who have already embarked on their vocal healing journey and are ready to learn more about the voice, sharpen their tools, and explore simple vocal techniques to help them expand their voice.

It’s also for those with an interest to learn and understand a bit more about music and music theory.

This course is intended to be a little bit more advanced, though still suitable for beginners who want to learn some vocal techniques.

We will always be taking a healing approach and the songs we will work on will remain in the realm of “medicine music”.

Every other week there will be partner work with someone in the class to help practice the new techniques and keep accountability with personal practice. This will be scheduled on your own time.

This is beyond music and technique. This is beyond singing. It’s about healing and empowering your self-expression and therefore yourself as a whole. And then, when you’ve moved past the self, you get to offer your service to a bigger mission: to the world.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

THE FULL PROGRAM: GROUP & PRIVATE SESSIONS

You will receive 3 private sessions and 5 group sessions, all led via Zoom.

We will begin each private session with a drop-in conversation & assessments of weekly progress, vocal warm-up & technique study, song review, and a new assignment.

GROUP ONLY PACKAGE:

Group sessions will focus more on subject matter (i.e vocal warm-ups and vocal toning, music theory, ear-training practice, song study, and of course, sharing of the voice and songs!

Group sessions will be recorded and can be accessed via a private link to any student who may have had to miss them.

What are you investing in?

First and foremost thank you so much once again for choosing me as your guide in healing your voice and self-expression. It is truly an honor.

I want to be clear, I do not charge for teaching and sharing medicine songs/chants, nor is this apprenticeship a certification of any sort. What you are paying for is my time, my education in music, my expertise in sacred chants and music, as well as study and training in plant medicines, ritual arts, and the effect of medicine music and sound healing on our emotional and physical bodies.

I have been teaching for nearly 25 years, and presently a university professor for the last 14 years teaching Humanities—the study of all art forms, ancient sites and temples, and human interaction throughout the arts.

I’ve been formally training in classical music since the age of 3, and obtain a Master’s Degree in Music Performance from SUNY Purchase Conservatory in New York. I presently hold a strong musical performance, recording and touring career.

I use all these tools, and experience to best facilitate each person I work with to find their voice, heal past trauma around their vocal expression, learn songs and music/vocal technique as needed and desired, considering each one's unique and individual goals.
